The product is very nice but requires a lot of assembly. Took a whole day to put together. Not a project for the novice with no basic carpentry skills.

great arbor,KIT ! needs better instructions

I give it 4 stars because it is good product at a good price .the good news, the arbor is well made, well packed, and quite lovely when complete, BBUT BEWARE.... this is not "some assembly required" , what arrives is a compact stack of cut wood pieces and a big bag of hardware. it must be fully assembled, there are no markings on the pieces to help locate measure where pieces go , everything must be measured with a tape measure. and beware. the Chinese company apparently could not find anyone who could properly convert metric to imperial. . the spacing of the horizontal slats on the sides needs to be about 1/4" greater than called for or you end up with one larger oblong section of "squares" also the instructions say to set the cross slats across the top. 'one slat" distance apart. I did this, it was easy, place a spare slat between the former and next nail- down slat... Wrong... you end up with too big a space at the opposite end looking like you are one slat short. I would lay it out, measure and do the math first before nailing everything together. have fun!
